Emergency Contraception
If you have had unprotected sex, a condom has split or you have forgotten to take your regular method of contraception then you may be at risk of an unplanned pregnancy. If you are under 25 you can get emergency contraception FREE from all of the pharmacies listed below.
Emergency Contraception must be taken within 72 hours and the sooner the better - if its over 72 hours contact the Sexual Medicine Service on 01803 656500 who may still be able to help.
It is always worth calling the pharmacy before had to make sure that a trained Pharmacist is available.

Emergency contraception can also be obtained from your GP, and a range of sexual health and contraception services throughout Torbay, as well as other services for young people.
Emergency contraception can be obtained from Pharmacies that are not listed here however it may not be provided to under 16's and it is likely to cost around £25.
